Michael van Gerwen heads a line-up of 11 players represented by ZWA at the biggest ever World Darts Championship, which begins on Thursday evening at London’s Alexandra Palace.
World number one van Gerwen, who is bidding for his third World Championship title is the bookies favourite to clinch the record £500,000 first prize on New Year’s Day.
He is joined by fellow Dutchmen Danny Noppert, Vincent van der Voort and Yordi Meeuwisse.
ZWA’s first and longest represented star Paul Nicholson makes his return to Ally Pally on Friday, when he takes on Kevin Burness before a potential meeting with Gary Anderson in the second round.
Friday also sees Russia’s Boris Koltsov take on Chris Dobey in round one.
Canada’s Jeff Smith takes on Josh Payne on Saturday in round one, while Spain’s Toni Alcinas meets Craig Ross on Sunday before Van Gerwen faces either Alan Tabern or Ray Smith in the second round.
The top 32 seeds enter the tournament at that second round stage, with Welsh ace Jonny Clayton meeting either Dimitri Van Den Bergh or Chuck Puleo on Friday 21 December.
31st seed Cristo Reyes could meet fellow ZWA star Rowby-John Rodriguez if the Austrian gets past Ricky Evans on Tuesday December 18.
Updates and reports will be posted on our website and twitter page @ZWASports throughout the 96-player event.
